Senior Full Stack Software Engineer
Summary
Long-term contract (to 30 June 2027, hybrid) for a senior full stack engineer in Canberra building digital services and cloud-native business apps on Microsoft D365, Power Apps, Dataverse, .NET REST APIs, and ReactJS SPAs. A Baseline security clearance is required.

Harrison McMillan is seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to develop and enhance modern digital services and cloud-native business applications.
This is a long-term contract to 30 June 2027 with extension options and is based in Canberra, ACT. Hybrid working arrangements apply, with three days in the office and two days working remotely.
Due to the nature of this role, a Baseline security clearance is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop solutions using Microsoft D365, Power Apps and Dataverse.
Build and maintain RESTful APIs using .NET.
Extend Dataverse solutions through Azure Function Apps.
Develop single-page applications using ReactJS.
Work with JavaScript and TypeScript technologies.
Participate in requirements analysis, user story estimation and Agile ceremonies.
Contribute to automated build, test and deployment processes.
Participate in code reviews and collaborate within a multidisciplinary delivery team.
Essential Criteria:
Demonstrated experience delivering full stack solutions across Microsoft D365, Power Apps and Dataverse environments.
Strong experience developing RESTful APIs using .NET.
Experience building ReactJS single-page applications.
Strong JavaScript and TypeScript development skills.
Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality outcomes.
Desirable Criteria:
Azure Pipelines CI/CD experience.
GraphQL experience.
Experience with other Microsoft Azure technologies.
Tertiary qualifications in software development, engineering or a related discipline.
Relevant industry certifications.
