Work Location: Cubao, Quezon City
Work Setup: Hybrid (3x onsite / 2x remote)
Requirements
- 7+ years of extensive experience in full‑stack development with strong proficiency in Java/Kotlin Spring Boot and modern front‑end technologies, including Angular, React, or equivalent.
- Deep expertise with database technologies, including graph databases (preferably Neo4j) and relational databases (preferably MySQL), including query optimization and schema design.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS cloud services for deploying and scaling full‑stack applications. Proven track record of leading technical projects and mentoring engineering teams.
- Advanced knowledge of software architecture patterns, microservices design, and API development best practices.
- Experience with modern development tools, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), serverless technologies, orchestration platforms (Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code.
- Strong understanding of security best practices across the full technology stack. Excellent communication skills and experience working in agile, cross‑functional teams.
- Relevant certifications are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership
- Lead the design and implementation of end‑to‑end solutions spanning modern back‑end APIs, front‑end interfaces, and database integrations.
- Architect scalable solutions that optimize the interaction between presentation, business logic, and data layers.
- Drive technical decision‑making across the full stack while mentoring other engineers in best practices. Ensure consistency and quality across all layers of the application architecture.
- Back-end Development
- Design and implement robust microservices using Spring Boot frameworks with Java or Kotlin.
- Develop efficient data access layers and integrations with both graph databases (like Neo4j) and relational databases (like MySQL).
- Optimize application performance, security, and scalability across back‑end services. Implement comprehensive testing strategies, including unit, integration, and contract testing.
- Quality Assurance
- Create comprehensive technical documentation, including API specifications, architecture diagrams, and implementation guides that support team knowledge‑sharing and project continuity.
