About the project

The Engineering Workbench (EWB) team builds and evolves a flagship Accuris product used globally by engineering

professionals. The team delivers robust, scalable and secure cloud-based solutions in AWS, supporting modern

engineering workflows and access to critical technical knowledge - collaborating closely with experienced software

developers, ML engineers, data analysts, researchers, IT partners and Product Owners.

As a Senior Software Engineer specialising in .NET and modern frontend frameworks, you will design and develop

new features across the full stack with a strong emphasis on usability, performance, scalability and security - owning

complex components end-to-end and influencing technical direction at the service and component level.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop web applications based on microservice architecture, using Angular/React and .NET technologies.

  • Own complex components end-to-end: requirements refinement, technical design, development, testing, deployment, monitoring and maintenance.

  • Contribute to architecture, framework, database and service design decisions, proposing improvements aligned with platform standards.

  • Build and maintain automated tests, quality gates, CI/CD pipelines and code review practices.

  • Contribute to containerisation and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes, and support production operations through monitoring and root-cause analysis.

  • Collaborate in Agile Scrum ceremonies with Product Owners, developers, IT, ML engineers, data analysts and researchers, while mentoring mid-level engineers.

Candidate FAQ

The questions candidates ask most often about this role - answered upfront.

Who is Accuris?

Accuris is an engineering intelligence company - formerly S&P Global's Engineering Solutions division and an integral

part of the engineering ecosystem for more than 60 years. Our products - Engineering Workbench (EWB), the EMS

platform and Goldfire - turn the world's largest repository of engineering standards and technical knowledge into

connected workflows. They are used by engineering teams at Boeing, NASA and SpaceX, among many others -

including the teams behind programs like NASA's Artemis.

What team would I join?

The Engineering Workbench (EWB) team, led by hiring manager Oleg. EWB is Accuris' flagship technical standards

platform, used globally by engineering professionals. You would work alongside senior developers, ML engineers, data

analysts and researchers on cloud-native services in AWS.

What do you look for?

Depth rather than buzzwords: strong .NET and database fundamentals (async patterns, memory management, query

performance), practical microservices experience - things like data consistency across services and service-to-service

auth - genuine full-stack awareness, and real ownership stories where you carried a component end-to-end. We also

value honesty about what you know deeply versus what you have only touched.

What does the process look like?

Three stages: (1) an intro call with Mateusz (recruiter screen), (2) a ~1-hour conversation with the hiring manager

covering technical topics and ways of working, and (3) a panel with two team members - one technical deep-dive, one

focused on collaboration and culture. The whole process typically takes about 2-3 weeks, there are no take-home

assignments, and you receive feedback after every stage. Interviews are conducted in English.

Where would I work?

Gdansk, Poland, on a hybrid model (3 days per week in the office). We are opening a brand-new office in the Alchemia

complex in central Gdansk in Aug/Sep 2026. Gdansk is Accuris' second engineering hub after Denver - you would be

joining at the greenfield stage and helping shape it.

What are the benefits?

Salary: 19 000 - 23 000 PLN gross/month (UoP) + annual bonus. On top of that, an employment contract (UoP - we

hire for the long term), a private medical package, a Multisport card, life insurance, a 2 000 PLN annual wellbeing

allowance, and all necessary equipment provided.
