Senior Hospital Foreman (Security) [ For serving HA Staff only]

Pay\: HK$32,740 to HK$ 38,290 (HGPS Point 12 to 15) per month including Monthly Allowance

Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance.

Key Responsibilities\:
Assist Hospital Manager and Chief Hospital Foreman in performing the following duties\:
1. To deliver and monitor daily operations of various services such as security and car park management, management of other outsourced services etc.
2. To train and develop hospital foremen and other security staff.
3. To ensure staff compliance with hospital policies and guidelines in the areas of security and guarding services, fire safety, bomb threat handling and use of car parking facilities etc.
4. To communicate and coordinate with service users in respect of provision of security services.
5. To handle emergency situation or disaster outbreak.
6. To monitor and review the performance of various outsourced service contractors.
7. To provide ad hoc support for security services as and when required.
8. To perform shift and on-call duties and provide 24-hour emergency support to the Hospital as and when required.
9. Any other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Entry Requirements\:
1. Serving staff with a minimum of 2 years’ experience at Hospital Foreman level; OR
2 (a) Pass in 5 subjects including English Language (Syllabus A or B), at Grade E in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination or equivalent.
OR
(b) 5 subjects in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education attaining the level specified below\:
- Level 1 in English Language; and
- Level 2 in New Senior Secondary subjects/ "Attained" in Applied Learning subjects (subject to a maximum of 2 subjects under this category) / Grade E in Other Language subjects; or equivalent.

And
(c) 4 years’ post-qualification experience, 2 years of which at supervisory level.
3. Good communication and interpersonal skills, mature personality and experienced in supervising staff.

Preferable Attributes\:
1. Possess a valid Security Personnel Permit issued by the Hong Kong Police Force.
2. Possession of a qualification in security/full membership of a professional body in Security
Management.
3. Good knowledge in PC skills, including MS Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Chinese typing.
4. High adaptability and flexibility, strong problem-solving skills and able to work under pressure.
5. Willing to perform work overtime or work outside normal office hours.
6. Formal training with relevant certificates on fire safety, first aid, occupational safety and health, etc.
