ABOUT THE POSITION

The Senior HR Business Partner acts as a strategic connector between HR and the business units, responsible for providing HR consultancy and implementing HR initiatives to ensure organizational effectiveness. Additionally, the Senior HRBP leads and manages key transformation projects to support sustainable growth and organizational change.

Transformation Projects (50%)

  • Lead and manage organizational transformation projects to change the culture, drive innovation, and support sustainable growth.
  • Collaborate closely with relevant departments to analyze requirements, develop plans, execute, and monitor transformation initiatives.
  • Manage risks and resolve issues arising during the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure active engagement and commitment of stakeholders throughout the change process.
  • Collect, analyze data, and report progress and outcomes of transformation projects to senior leadership.
  • Provide consultation and promote a change-ready culture, supporting workshops and trainings related to organizational change.

HR Business Partner (50%)

  1. Performance Management: Focus on current workforce in the organization and prepare them for the future. Areas of focus are as:
  • Facilitate other stakeholders with talent review sessions periodically to ensure talents are managed and maintained
  • Collect and analyze data with indicators related to talent insights and collaborate with various managers for continuous improvement
  • Create Individual Development Plan (IDP) for staff in collaboration and alignment with their immediate supervisors/ line managers
  • Succession Planning: identify key talents and provide development plans for them as successors to fill in critical roles
  • Support for cascading competency framework and seek for development plans to enforce the quality of Leadership and Management Team
  • Align Employees Performance outcome with Total Rewards team for rewarding packages appropriately

  1. Employee & Labor Relation: Focus on interactions between the organization and employees with regards employment activities and incidents in daily basis. Areas of focus are as:
  • Conduct daily/weekly meetings with respective managers for people metrics update
  • Comprehend workplace policies, employee handbook, codes of conduct and provide guidance to employees for their understanding and compliance with corporate governance
  • Accompany line managers to handle difficult employees, disruptive behaviors and provide appropriate corrective action, with Performance Improvement Plan (PIP);
  • Investigate cases who violate the Company policies and regulations and suggest for disciplinary action (if any)
  • Manage employee exit process to ensure that every employee leaves the Company with their contentment and pride (for voluntary exit)
  • Establish positive relationships with managers and staff to boost morale, productivity, and retention
  • And other tasks/ projects assigned by immediate supervisor/line manager (if any)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Law or related field
  • 4-6 years of HR experience in Performance Management, Talent Development and Employment Counselling
  • Obtain good knowledge of performance assessment tool and mechanism and effectiveness evaluation
  • Obtain knowledge of human & organizational psychology is a plus
