Key Responsibilities:
Lead ECIT Design & System Integration
- Develop overall ECIT design concepts covering Electrical, Control, Instrumentation and Telecom systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications and international standards
- Produce, review, and validate detailed deliverables such as single-line diagrams, loop diagrams, control narratives, network architecture, telecom block diagrams, and cable engineering deliverables
- Ensure seamless system integration across power distribution, control systems, instrumentation architecture, safety systems, and telecom networks
Interdisciplinary Coordination & Technical Governance
- Lead multidiscipline design reviews with Process, Mechanical, Structural, Safety, and Marine teams to ensure full topside interface alignment
- Coordinate with vendors and package suppliers on ECIT-related technical clarifications, system requirements, and interface control documents
- Guide and mentor junior designers/engineers, ensuring adherence to ECIT design standards, best practices, and quality expectations.
Quality Assurance, Verification & Project Execution Support
- Perform design verification, compliance checks, and constructability reviews across ECIT systems to ensure technical accuracy and operational reliability
- Support procurement, FAT/SAT, installation, integration testing, and commissioning by reviewing vendor packages and resolving technical queries
- Identify risks across electrical, control, instrumentation, and telecom systems, propose mitigation strategies, and manage resolution of SQs, NCRs, interface issues, and design changes
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years' experience in the offshore or onshore oil and gas industry
- Minimum consecutive 5 years' experience at top-tier FPSO contractor or Offshore/Onshore EPC contractor (minimum 5 years continuous working experience in the same contractor)
- Minimum 1 FPSO FEED/EPCI Project experience as a Topside Instrument Designer
- Well Versed with Process Design Tool such as AVEVA platform
- Ability to work with and to communicate effectively with co-workers and manage multiple priorities.
- Fluent in English, with strong oral and written communication skills
