Role Overview
We are seeking an Industrial Engineer to support manufacturing optimization, capacity planning, and productivity improvement initiatives within a semiconductor manufacturing environment. This role will focus on capacity modeling, resource optimization, cost analysis, factory planning, and operational efficiency improvements to support business growth and manufacturing excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and enhance capacity models to support manufacturing operations and business planning.
Establish and monitor UPH (Units Per Hour) standards for capacity planning and product costing analysis.
Analyze manufacturing capacity requirements based on production forecasts and demand projections.
Conduct manpower planning, machine utilization studies, and headcount optimization initiatives.
Plan and coordinate factory layout and workflow improvement projects.
Partner with engineering, operations, and finance teams on capacity expansion and CAPEX planning.
Establish material consumption standards to support costing and operational analysis.
Drive productivity improvement and operational excellence projects.
Identify opportunities to improve resource utilization, manufacturing efficiency, and overall factory performance.
Ideal Requirements
Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial engineering, manufacturing planning, capacity planning, or operational excellence roles.
Semiconductor manufacturing experience is preferred, with exposure to wafer fabrication, bumping, packaging, or advanced manufacturing environments considered an advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in capacity modeling, productivity analysis, and resource optimization.
Familiarity with manufacturing KPIs such as UPH, cycle time, utilization, and manpower efficiency.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic manufacturing environment.
