Job Description

We\'re looking for a Senior Infrastructure Administrator to manage our client\'s SaaS Operations portfolio (Datadog, Azure DevOps, expanding to GitHub and Flexera). You\'ll handle support and access requests, monitor platform health, coordinate with vendors, lead our Datadog Community of Practice, and build automations to cut down repetitive work.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer Datadog, Azure DevOps, and future SaaS tools - resolve support tickets, manage access, monitor health, liaise with vendors

• Lead the monthly Datadog Community of Practice; curate topics, present updates, invite guest speakers

• Define access models and standards; set training/certification requirements for elevated access

• Coach users on integration best practices and data hygiene

• Track vendor updates and translate them into internal briefings

• Evaluate new platform features and support POCs (e.g., AI/LLM observability)

• Identify recurring issues and build Python/PowerShell/Bash automations, deployed via Azure Functions

• Configure and maintain Datadog infrastructure (agents, integrations, private locations)

• Deliver all work in line with agreed SLAs

Requirements

• Hands-on experience administering observability platforms (Datadog a plus) and Agile/DevOps platforms (Azure DevOps preferred)

• Experience in third-level IT support with ITIL-aligned incident/problem/change management

• Strong coding in Python, PowerShell, and Bash (VS Code)

• Familiarity with AI coding agents (e.g., GitHub Copilot), system prompts, and RAG concepts

• Experience deploying serverless automations (Azure Functions or AWS Lambda)

• Solid Windows/Linux server administration and networking fundamentals

• Cloud literacy in Azure (AWS a plus)

• Excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills

• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
