Your new role
We're seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to support a major integration programme, starting as soon as possible and running through to 30 June 2027.
You'll help integrate and transition enterprise infrastructure across multiple environments, working closely with internal engineers and project teams while supporting day-to-day operational requirements.

Your new role

You'll help integrate and transition enterprise infrastructure across multiple environments, working closely with internal engineers and project teams while supporting day-to-day operational requirements.
Responsibilities
- Support infrastructure integration and transition activities across corporate and generation environments.
- Configure, maintain and troubleshoot VMware virtualisation environments.
- Work across enterprise servers, storage and networking infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain automation using Ansible and related tools.
- Assist with infrastructure migration, testing, implementation and operational handover.
- Resolve technical issues and support business-as-usual infrastructure operations.
- Collaborate with infrastructure engineers, project teams and stakeholders.
- Travel regularly to Tauranga and generation sites throughout New Zealand.
- Strong enterprise Infrastructure Engineering experience.
- Hands-on expertise with VMware, servers, storage and networking.
- Experience with Ansible, scripting or infrastructure automation.
- Proven experience supporting infrastructure migrations or integration programmes.
- Ability to work across both project delivery and operational support.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to get up to speed quickly.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.
- Flexibility to undertake significant travel throughout New Zealand.
- Contract through to 30 June 2027.
