Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Salary: Competitive rates | Tauranga travel + WFH

We're working with a leading NZ company looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to support a major technology integration programme.

You'll join an established infrastructure team, contributing to a significant programme of work while supporting the ongoing reliability and performance of critical infrastructure.

What You'll Be Doing

• Support the integration and transition of infrastructure across corporate and generation environments.
• Deliver infrastructure migrations and technical integration activities.
• Improve infrastructure efficiency and reliability through automation.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and support ongoing operations.
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders across multiple sites throughout NZ.

What We're Looking For

• Strong hands-on enterprise infrastructure experience across VMware, servers, storage and networking.
• Experience with Ansible or similar infrastructure automation tools.
• A background in infrastructure migrations, integrations or complex enterprise environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and hit the ground running.
• Flexibility to travel regularly to Tauranga and different sites nationwide.

Location & Travel
Tauranga is the preferred location, although candidates based elsewhere in NZ will be considered. The role involves regular travel to Tauranga and different sites throughout the country. Outside of these requirements, you'll have the flexibility to work from home.
