Senior Microsoft 365 & Infrastructure Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Microsoft 365 & Infrastructure Engineer to join our core IT operations and engineering team. In this role, you will lead and execute enterprise-level architecture, identity management, PowerShell automation, and core infrastructure initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Platform & Identity Engineering: Design, implement, and maintain Microsoft 365 services, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), and complex Hybrid Active Directory architectures.

• Automation & Enterprise Scripting: Leverage PowerShell and enterprise automation workflows to streamline operational tasks, infrastructure deployments, and system integrations (including ServiceNow).

• Core Infrastructure & Hardening: Manage, configure, and harden Windows Server environments, Enterprise PKI, and core network services (DNS, active directory replication, security controls).

• Enterprise Architecture: Contribute to high-level infrastructure design, capacity planning, and security hardening across hybrid environments.

• Troubleshooting & Incident Resolution: Act as a tier-3 technical escalation point for complex technical issues across M365, messaging (Exchange Online), identity, and hybrid infrastructure.

Job Requirements & Core Qualifications

• M365 & Identity: Strong, hands-on engineering experience with Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID (IAM), and Hybrid Active Directory environments.

• Exchange Online: Proven experience managing and configuring Exchange Online in enterprise environments.

• PowerShell & Automation: Advanced PowerShell scripting capabilities with a strong track record of designing enterprise-wide automation solutions.

• Server & Security Infrastructure: Deep expertise in Windows Server configuration, OS hardening, Enterprise PKI concepts, and core enterprise network protocols (DNS, routing, security segmentation).

• Problem Solving & Design: Proven ability to troubleshoot complex hybrid cloud/on-prem issues and contribute directly to enterprise infrastructure architecture.

Preferred / Advantageous Qualifications

• AI & Copilot Integration: Hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot, OpenAI/enterprise AI platforms, or leveraging AI tools/agents to optimize IT infrastructure and operational workflows.

• Cloud & Platform Tools: Familiarity with Azure core services, AWS (specifically Route 53 and AWS SES), and VMware vSphere environments.

• IT Infrastructure Automation: Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), modern configuration management, or ServiceNow workflow automation.

• Frameworks & Methodologies: Experience operating in financial services or regulated environments under ITSM/ITIL guidelines and Agile/Kanban delivery frameworks.
