In this role you will contribute to the Feast app by building, testing, and maintaining major features for personalised recipe discovery. You’ll work with Swift and SwiftUI, collaborating with cross-functional teams including designers and editorial/commercial colleagues. You’ll influence product and technical directions, uphold high code quality, and mentor junior developers. The role sits in a hybrid setup, offering meaningful work within a mission-driven media organisation that values inclusion and skill growth.

- Build, test, and maintain major features and existing functionality
- Work with Swift and occasionally Objective-C across the codebase
- Collaborate with developers, designers, and editorial/commercial teams
- Participate in key team decision-making processes
- Engage in product and technical decision-making
- Review peer code to uphold high application standards
- Drive innovation through daily work and hack days
- Support and mentor junior developers
- Experienced iOS developer with Swift/SwiftUI experience
- Experience building and deploying iOS applications
- Interest in growing skills and ability to lead or work independently
- Mentoring and supporting junior developers
- Experience with Objective-C is beneficial
