Senior iOS Engineer
Summary
Ondo is hiring a Senior iOS Engineer to own native iOS features end-to-end, from early product discussions through App Store release and ongoing improvement. The role focuses on translating complex financial workflows into responsive experiences using Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit, with emphasis on security, transactions, and state management.
You will own native iOS features from early product discussions through implementation, App Store release, and ongoing improvement. You will translate complex financial workflows into clear, responsive experiences while handling authentication, account state, transactions, errors, and interrupted flows. You will collaborate on reliable backend contracts, improve quality through testing and observability, and help guide iOS technical direction.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain native iOS features in Swift through App Store release
- Translate complex financial workflows into clear, responsive mobile experiences
- Design handling for authentication, account state, transactions, errors, and interrupted flows
- Define reliable app-facing contracts with backend and platform engineers
- Improve quality through testing, observability, code review, and user-behavior analysis
- Set iOS technical direction and mentor other engineers
Requirements
- Experience shipping and improving production iOS applications with Swift
- Strong command of SwiftUI and practical UIKit experience
- Knowledge of app architecture, asynchronous work, state management, networking, and persistence
- Experience designing for security, privacy, accessibility, and performance
- Experience with financial products, trading, digital assets, or wallets
- Experience building applications that handle sensitive account or transaction flows
- Familiarity with release automation, analytics, and crash monitoring
