Funambol, Inc. in Pavia, Italy, seeks an autonomous iOS engineer to join the mobile team. You will work closely with senior developers to drive development independently, bring your own perspective and contribute to technical discussions.
You will develop in Swift (and Objective-C legacy), participate in TDD, and help raise the bar across architecture, testing, and quality. This hybrid role combines 3 days in-office with 2 days remote.
Design and deliver high-quality automatically tested code that improves UX and reliability of our app. Work on new features, improve existing ones, and refactor our codebase as needed. Help us to increase our automated test coverage and reduce our technical debt. Bring fresh ideas on architecture and technical design. Discuss solutions to improve our processes and automations. Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent. 4+ years of relevant iOS development experience. Strong knowledge of Swift and Objective-C on the iOS platform. Good knowledge of object-oriented design techniques. Experience with TDD / unit testing and CocoaPods/Fastlane. Hybrid work model
