In this role, you will shape AI-powered mobile experiences for travelers on iOS, blending conversational UI with cutting-edge AI to deliver a smart travel assistant. You’ll design and ship Swift-first features, shaping how users interact with AI in a mobile context. You’ll optimize performance, privacy, and real-time AI interactions, collaborating with product, design, and backend teams. The opportunity centers on building a scalable, user-centric travel companion that adapts to needs and context.
Responsibilities- Design and ship UX patterns for conversational and AI-driven experiences on iOS
- Architect and build Swift-first, production-grade features with async/await and modern iOS APIs
- Lead context-aware experiences using behavior, preferences, and app state with emphasis on performance and privacy
- Leverage metrics, experimentation, and logging to iteratively improve features
- Translate complex AI/ML capabilities into simple, intuitive mobile interactions
- Use AI tools to accelerate development while maintaining a high-quality, tested codebase
- Collaborate across product, design, and backend in a fast-moving environment
- 5+ years of professional iOS development experience with strong Swift skills
- Deep understanding of Swift and iOS SDK (concurrency, structured concurrency, GCD)
- Experience with SwiftUI; UIKit familiarity a plus
- Experience with Combine or reactive patterns and when to use them
- Strong grasp of iOS architecture (MVVM, Clean Architecture, modularization)
- Solid networking skills (JSON, REST, WebSockets, streaming APIs) with offline support
- Experience with offline storage, background processing, threading, push notifications
- Curiosity about new interaction models (chat, multimodal UI)
- Experience with AI development tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) and LLM-driven features
- Track record shipping consumer-facing apps with user feedback and metrics
- BS in Computer Science or related technical field
