Senior IT Engineer – Desktop & Network Support

Salary: $4,500 – $6,000 per month

Job Scope

• Be the go-to support for around 270 staff on hardware, software, network and general IT issues, including remote support for hybrid users and occasional site visits

• Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, peripherals, printers and other office equipment, and deploy new devices

• Resolve LAN, Wi-Fi, IP addressing, switch and connectivity issues, and help administer and troubleshoot Sophos Firewall

• Handle Active Directory tasks such as creating and disabling accounts, password resets, access permissions, domain joins and basic Group Policy

• Manage IT onboarding and offboarding, user access and basic security practices

• Liaise with external vendors on quotations, procurement, repairs, warranty claims and installation or maintenance services

• Keep IT inventory, system configurations and troubleshooting procedures documented and up to date

• Escalate complex issues to the Chief IT or vendors when needed, keeping all systems and equipment running smoothly

Job Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Active Directory, networking and firewalls (ideally Sophos) in a Windows environment preferred

• Background in IT support, helpdesk or desktop support would be an advantage
