- Proven experience in Java and Spring Boot upgrade projects
- Strong proficiency in Java 21 and Spring Boot
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and SQL
- Practical knowledge of messaging technologies such as JMS, MQ or similar
- Strong understanding of Java frameworks including Spring and Hibernate
- Experience with relational databases and SQL-based development
- Knowledge of OpenAPI and AsyncAPI for producing and consuming data
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of software design patterns and object-oriented programming principles
- Very good command of English, both spoken and written
- Upgrade applications to Java 17+ and Spring Boot 3.3.x baseline
- Design, develop and maintain Java applications supporting savings and investments products
- Build calculation engines ensuring compliance with tax regulations across multiple countries
- Develop solutions supporting complex business processes, tax authority integrations and customer-facing reporting
- Participate in requirements analysis, solution design, development, testing and deployment activities
- Collaborate with financial analysts to translate business requirements into technical solutions
