Senior Java Backend Developer
Summary
The Senior Java Backend Developer will develop and maintain Java-based applications for taxation, account management, and investment processing. The role requires expertise in Java 21, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, and messaging protocols.
The consultant will be responsible for developing, enhancing and maintaining our Java-based applications that handle taxation, account management, and investment processing for our pension and savings products.
- Strong experience in Java 21 and Java-based application development
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and related Java frameworks
- Proven experience with relational databases and PostgreSQL SQL
- Practical experience with messaging technologies such as JMS, MQ, or similar protocols
- Strong proficiency in Java frameworks including Spring and Hibernate
- Knowledge of OpenAPI and AsyncAPI for producing and consuming data
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of software design patterns and object-oriented programming principles
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Very good command of English, both spoken and written
