Designs, develops, and maintains secure, scalable backend services for financial systems on a global application development team. Day to day: building Java microservices and REST/SOAP APIs with Spring Boot or Quarkus, plus API security, observability, and CI/CD with Maven, Git, and Azure DevOps.
Adecco Portugal is seeking a highly skilled Java Backend Engineer to join our global Application Development, Support and Engineering team. You will design, develop, and maintain robust financial systems with secure, scalable backend services that power our digital strategy.
You will work with Java Spring Boot or Quarkus, implement microservices, and develop REST/SOAP APIs. Expect strong focus on API security, observability, and CI/CD using Maven, Git, and Azure DevOps.
