Senior Java Backend Engineer | Hybrid, Milan

Objectway Limited is seeking a Senior Back-End Developer (Java) to join the engineering team in Milan. You will design, develop and evolve scalable backend services and RESTful APIs for a wealth management platform, collaborating with product managers, architects and cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade solutions.

You will work with Java, Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes and AWS in a cloud-native, microservices environment, focusing on secure, high-performing software.

Design, develop and maintain scalable back-end services using Java and Spring Boot in a microservices architecture. Build secure, high-performing back-end components and RESTful APIs for financial institutions. Collaborate with product, architecture and other engineers to ensure security, reliability and scalable cloud-native deployment. 5+ years of back-end development with Java and Spring Boot. Experience designing microservices-based architectures and APIs. Hands-on with Docker, Kubernetes and AWS in production environments.
