Senior Java Backend Lead for OTA & Vehicle Diagnostics

KPIT is seeking a Senior JAVA Software Engineer to develop backend services for vehicle diagnostics and OTA offboard software. You will design scalable Java/Spring APIs, manage cloud infrastructure, and support secure OTA deployment pipelines in an automotive context.

Experience with telemetry processing, CANoe testing, and multi-cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP) is valued. Fluency in English and Italian is a plus for international collaboration.

Develop scalable backend services and API architectures using Java/Spring. Implement offboard diagnostics systems to process vehicle telemetry data. Manage cloud infrastructure for secure OTA updates. Utilize CANoe environments to test backend API interactions with simulated vehicle endpoints. Minimum 5 years in backend software engineering (Automotive domain). Strong core Java development: Java, Spring Framework / Spring Boot, RESTful API design, microservices, Maven/Gradle, JUnit, integration testing, OOD and design patterns.
