Senior Java Developer (AI, Microservices, Cloud)

We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to engineer scalable Java systems and use AI concepts to improve how solutions are designed and delivered. Responsibilities

• Implement scalable applications that support organizational priorities while meeting engineering quality standards
• Shape architecture direction by contributing ideas and trade-offs during system design meetings
• Partner with cross-functional groups to deliver high-quality outcomes within planned timelines
• Perform code reviews and provide clear feedback that improves reliability and long-term maintainability
• Resolve complex technical defects by identifying root causes and coordinating fixes end to end
• Mentor junior engineers through day-to-day guidance that accelerates their growth
• Contribute to planning by defining deliverables, estimating effort, and supporting schedule creation
• Incorporate beneficial technology practices by evaluating changes and applying them where they add value
• Maintain documentation of architectural decisions and technical processes to keep the codebase easy to evolve
• Engage stakeholders to capture requirements clearly and ensure delivered results align with business goals

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of practical software engineering experience or similar professional background
• Practical understanding of AI technologies and concepts applicable to application design and development processes
• Strong knowledge of Java Core and object-oriented programming techniques
• Demonstrated experience with Java 8 and its relevant features
• Hands-on experience implementing backend services using Spring Boot
• Exposure to operating applications and services in Microsoft Azure
• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services for cloud rollout and day-to-day management
• Proven experience setting up and working within CI/CD pipelines for automated builds and deployments
• Solid ability to use SQL for managing relational data and writing effective queries
• Experience designing and developing systems based on microservice architecture patterns
• Ability to create REST APIs and connect them to broader application ecosystems
• Practical unit testing experience to validate functionality and increase stability
• Familiarity with NoSQL database technologies suitable for Java applications
• English at B2 (Upper-Intermediate) level or above, written and spoken
