Designs and develops high-performance, low-latency trading system components in Java (and C++) on Linux, deployed and optimized on AWS EC2 in a distributed architecture. Day to day involves implementing features, tuning latency/scalability, bug fixing, and collaborating with Trading, Quant and DevOps teams.

- 3 - 5+ years of experience in building financial/ trading systems using Java or C++ on Linux;
- Expertise in multi-threaded/concurrency programming using lock - free algorithms;
- Proficiency in low - latency programming concepts and techniques;
- Experience with the design and development of distributed systems;
- Strong knowledge of AWS EC2 and experience in optimizing cloud environments for low latency;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Ability to thrive in a fast - paced environment.
