Ciklum is looking for a Senior Java Developer to join our team full-time in Poland.
About The Role
As a Senior Java Developer, you will be part of a cross‑functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. You will work on projects delivering scalable and high-quality software solutions aligned with the product roadmap and modern architectural standards.
Responsibilities
- Write highly testable, automatable, and performant code across the full SDLC using high coding standards and software best practices
- Develop the product and deliver features and updates according to the product roadmap
- Develop and review feature design documents and provide input to update solution specifications
- Participate in team activities according to the methodology, including daily meetings, planning, and retrospectives
- Coach and supervise Middle and Junior Engineers based on project needs
Requirements
- Use best practices and patterns during application design and implementation
- Hands‑on experience with monolith, microservice, and serverless architectural styles
- In-depth proficiency in Java, implementing applications using defensive programming
- Proven experience in developing web applications using advanced framework features and industry-standard conventions
- Practical experience in writing and performance tuning of complex SQL
- In‑depth proficiency with JUnit and Mockito
- Experience contributing to continuous quality improvement, including conducting code reviews, setting up quality metrics, and monitoring them
- Hands‑on experience with application deployment patterns and tools
- Practical experience in infrastructure configuration using popular cloud providers
