Senior Java Developer

Responsibilities

• Design durable, scalable technical architectures aligned with business goals and engineering standards
• Contribute to architecture discussions and help guide the technical direction of projects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver outcomes on time and at the expected quality level
• Review code from other developers and provide constructive feedback that reinforces best practices
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues that arise across different stages of the development cycle
• Mentor junior engineers by sharing knowledge that builds skill and confidence
• Participate in planning sessions by defining scope and providing accurate time estimates
• Track emerging technology trends and apply valuable new approaches in day-to-day work
• Maintain clear documentation of key technical decisions and procedures to support long-term codebase stability
• Coordinate with business stakeholders to clarify goals and confirm delivered work meets expectations

Requirements

• Hands-on experience of 3 years or more in a comparable software engineering role
• Practical familiarity with AI tools and theory to improve architecture and solution design
• Strong command of Java Core and solid object-oriented programming skills
• Proven use of Java 8 features in real-world development work
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot to build and maintain backend services
• Solid background in cloud environments on the Microsoft Azure platform
• Working knowledge of Amazon Web Services for deploying and operating cloud solutions
• Practical understanding of CI/CD concepts for consistent automated releases
• Comfortable use of SQL to structure queries and work with relational databases
• Proven track record designing and delivering systems with Microservice Architecture guidelines
• Hands-on experience building and integrating REST API frameworks
• Deep understanding of Unit Testing practices to keep code stable and reliable
• Exposure to Java NoSQL database options used alongside Java-based services
• English proficiency at B2 (Upper-Intermediate) level or higher
