Senior Java Developer

Responsibilities

• Build and deliver scalable technical designs that meet engineering requirements and business needs
• Contribute to architecture reviews and share insights that help set the technical direction
• Coordinate with cross-functional collaborators to ensure timely delivery and high standards
• Provide code review input that promotes disciplined development and continuous improvement
• Diagnose and address complex technical challenges encountered during development
• Guide junior engineers through mentoring and knowledge sharing to build capability
• Contribute to estimation and scope planning by offering realistic timelines
• Stay current with technology changes and incorporate valuable techniques into daily work
• Maintain thorough documentation of technical decisions and key processes for future upkeep
• Align with business stakeholders to define objectives and verify that outcomes match what was promised

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of directly relevant experience in a similar technical role
• Experience using AI tools and frameworks to improve or inform solution architecture approaches
• Deep understanding of Java Core and strong object-oriented programming skills
• Proven hands-on work applying Java 8 features in production projects
• Practical background with Spring Boot for backend architecture implementation and support
• Experience working within Microsoft Azure-based cloud environments
• Knowledge of Amazon Web Services for planning and executing cloud deployments
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts that support stable and automated release processes
• Competence with SQL for accessing and organizing data in relational databases
• Proven experience with Microservice Architecture best practices in system design
• Hands-on experience building REST-based API solutions
• Solid grasp of Unit Testing methods to maintain high-quality code
• Exposure to NoSQL database technologies used with Java solutions
• Good English communication skills at B2 (Upper-Intermediate) level or higher
