Senior Java Developer

We are hiring a Senior Java Developer to deliver scalable backend services and use AI tools and theory to improve how solutions are designed. You will partner with a fast-moving team across cloud deployments in Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services, building Java 8/Spring Boot microservices with REST, SQL, CI/CD, Unit Testing, and Java NoSQL. Responsibilities

• Architect scalable, long-lasting technical solutions that meet business objectives and engineering expectations
• Advise during architecture conversations to influence key project decisions
• Coordinate with multiple disciplines to ensure deliveries are timely and meet quality standards
• Conduct code reviews and offer actionable feedback to uphold strong engineering practices
• Resolve difficult technical problems that occur throughout the build and release lifecycle
• Support junior developers through mentoring and knowledge sharing to accelerate their growth
• Estimate work during planning and contribute to scope definition and timelines
• Evaluate new technology trends and introduce worthwhile improvements into routine engineering tasks
• Document important technical decisions and workflows to protect maintainability over time
• Partner with business stakeholders to align on targets and validate outcomes against expectations

Requirements

• Relevant professional experience of 3+ years in a similar technical position
• Working knowledge of AI tools and theory used to strengthen solution design decisions
• Strong foundation in Java Core with confident object-oriented programming ability
• Demonstrated experience applying Java 8 features in production code
• Proficiency with Spring Boot for creating and supporting backend components
• Experience operating in Microsoft Azure-based cloud environments
• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services for deployment and cloud operations
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices enabling automated and repeatable releases
• Ability to use SQL to query and manage data in relational database systems
• Experience implementing Microservice Architecture patterns and guidelines
• Experience developing and integrating REST API frameworks
• Solid grasp of Unit Testing methods to ensure code reliability
• Familiarity with Java NoSQL database technologies used with Java services
• English level B2 (Upper-Intermediate) or higher with effective communication skills
