Responsibilities

• Architect and build scalable, resilient technical designs that satisfy engineering and business needs
• Contribute to architectural decision-making and help influence how initiatives evolve
• Partner with teams across disciplines to deliver outcomes on time and at the expected quality level
• Evaluate code changes from teammates and offer actionable, constructive review feedback
• Troubleshoot and fix challenging technical problems throughout development and delivery
• Coach junior developers by sharing guidance that accelerates learning and confidence
• Assist with project planning by clarifying scope and producing accurate time estimates
• Track developments in the tech landscape and introduce useful approaches into the workflow
• Create and maintain clear documentation of important technical choices and processes
• Work with business stakeholders to define goals and confirm that deliveries meet agreed expectations

Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant, practical experience in a similar engineering role
• Working experience with AI tools and frameworks that can improve solution architecture decisions
• Strong command of Java Core and well-developed object-oriented programming ability
• Demonstrated use of Java 8 capabilities in hands-on project environments
• Proficiency with Spring Boot for building and supporting backend system architecture
• Experience operating within Microsoft Azure cloud environments
• Knowledge of Amazon Web Services for organizing and running cloud-based deployments
• Understanding of CI/CD practices for reliable automated software delivery
• Ability to use SQL to manage and retrieve data in relational databases
• Experience designing solutions following Microservice Architecture best practices
• Background building REST API solutions in real systems
• Knowledge of Unit Testing practices to maintain consistent code quality
• Exposure to NoSQL databases used alongside Java applications
• English proficiency of B2 (Upper-Intermediate) or above
