Our client, a leading firm with global offices, is actively seeking a senior java developer to join their expanding team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining their next generation greenfield risk management platform.
The role:
- Design and implement complex Java applications to support equity derivatives trading, including pricing engines, risk management tools, and trade lifecycle management systems
- Collaborate with quantitative analysts, trading strategists, and infrastructure engineers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Optimize application performance and scalability to ensure low latency and high throughput
- Develop robust testing frameworks and implement continuous integration/deployment practices
- Mentor and guide junior developers, sharing your expertise in Java, distributed systems, and financial domain knowledge
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Java language features, frameworks, and industry best practices
What you offer:
