- • Contribute to the design, development, testing, and support of software solutions for Risk Analysts, Front Office Traders, and Senior Executives
- • Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and efficient applications on distributed computing platforms
- • Build, enhance, and support data processing pipelines, REST APIs, and web-based applications
- • Participate in software design, development, testing, and deployment
- • Perform unit testing and integration testing, and support user acceptance testing
- • Troubleshoot and resolve application and production issues under guidance from senior team members
- • Contribute to code reviews and follow coding standards and best practices
- • Support continuous integration and continuous delivery processes
- • Improve application performance, automation, and software quality
- • Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, architects, and global technology teams
- • Learn and adopt new technologies, frameworks, and engineering practices
Requirements
- 5+ years of software development experience with Java/JEE and object-oriented programming
- 3+ years of experience with Big Data technologies such as Spark, Scala, Hadoop, or Hive
- Experience developing data processing pipelines using Spark, Scala, or Python
- Experience working with Cassandra or other NoSQL databases
- Familiarity with relational databases and strong SQL skills
- Experience building or consuming REST APIs
- Working knowledge of Spring Boot and microservices architecture
- Experience using Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Maven, or similar technologies
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting
- Understanding of software design principles, coding standards, and testing methodologies
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving application issues
- Knowledge of distributed systems and scalable application development is an asset
- Good understanding of Agile software development methodologies
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative global team environment
- Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
