Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test and maintain Java applications and backend services.
- Build and integrate REST APIs, microservices and enterprise application components.
- Work with databases, messaging services and external systems to deliver reliable integrations.
- Participate in code reviews, technical documentation, testing, deployment and production support.
Job Experience & Skills Required / Ideal Candidate Profile:
Education
- A degree, diploma or equivalent relevant qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology or Software Engineering is advantageous.
- Relevant Java or software engineering certifications will be advantageous.
- Experience delivering enterprise software projects is valued.
- Cloud platform or DevOps training will be beneficial.
Experience
- Typically 5+ years of professional software development experience, including hands-on Java development.
- Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring or Spring Boot.
- Experience developing APIs, integrating databases and working with version control and automated testing.
- Microservices, cloud, CI/CD and Agile delivery experience will be highly advantageous.
Skills
