Senior Java Developer

PROJECT

Join an international engineering environment focused on developing, maintaining, and improving distributed systems and cloud-based applications.

YOU WILL

• Design, develop, and maintain distributed systems and microservices using Java 25 and Spring Boot.
• Drive the adoption of DevOps and Agile principles across engineering teams.
• Analyse technical and business requirements and translate them into reliable technical solutions.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Software Engineers, IT Architects, and other stakeholders.
• Design and implement scalable solutions following modern software engineering practices.
• Apply SRE principles to improve platform reliability, availability, capacity, and performance.
• Develop and enhance monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions to support incident detection and resolution.
• Participate in Incident Management, Problem Management, and Service Delivery processes.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and release processes.
• Support application lifecycle management, including vulnerability remediation and production stability.
• Identify automation opportunities and reduce manual operational tasks.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes and platform reliability.

Kogo poszukujemy?

MUST HAVE

• 4+ years of experience in developing and supporting distributed systems using Java.
• Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
• Experience with Java 25 or the ability to work with modern Java versions.
• Good understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD automation, and application lifecycle management.
• Experience with Jenkins, Ansible, or similar automation tools.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and distributed system architecture.
• Experience with production support, incident management, and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of SRE principles, monitoring, and observability.
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional, international teams.
• Very good English communication skills.

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Knowledge of Spring Cloud, Apache Beam, or Apache Flink.
• Experience with Angular.
• Familiarity with Redis.
• Experience with vulnerability remediation and application security practices.
• German language skills.
