Senior Java Developer
Summary
Senior Java Developer based in Menlyn Maine, Pretoria, working hybrid (3 days in office, Mondays & Fridays mandatory) on EU-based enterprise projects. Day-to-day is full-stack development with strong Java 11+ on the backend and Angular on the frontend, plus debugging, optimisation and delivering production-ready code.
My client is looking for a Senior Java Developer, based in Menlyn Maine, Pretoria, with a Hybrid (3 days in office) work model.
Requirements- 6+ years software development experience
- Strong proficiency in Java 11+ (essential)
- Experience with Angular (required)
- Strong understanding of full-stack development within enterprise environments
- Ability to work within hybrid teams on EU-based projects
- Solid experience with debugging, optimisation, and delivering production-ready code
- Strong problem-solving ability and ability to work within outcomes-based development teams
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field beneficial (not required)
- Ability to work onsite Mondays & Fridays (mandatory)
- Comfortable working within flexible hours but available between 09:00–15:00
