Senior Java Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Engineer to start a new team and contribute to the client's "AI Engineer" role. The ideal candidate will combine strong core Java expertise with AI knowledge, work proactively with minimal oversight, and collaborate closely with an English-speaking, customer-facing team.

This position offers a fully remote role based in Poland. We are highly interested in candidates willing to start in September.

Responsibilities

• Apply strong core Java skills to existing project infrastructure
• Work independently without strict requirements while demonstrating proactiveness
• Maintain tight collaboration with the customer throughout the project lifecycle
• Communicate effectively with an English-speaking team
• Leverage AI experience and theoretical knowledge to meet client expectations
• Conduct analytical work and research in cooperation with the Architecture team
• Develop AI Agents using the customer's Agent Development Kit in Java

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with core Java development
• Experience with AWS services including EKS, Lambda, DocumentDB, S3, Bedrock, EC2, and StepFunction
• Proficiency in Java 21/25, Spring Boot, and Spring AI
• Background in AI Agents development and LLM prompting
• Understanding of AI principles and their application to client features
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with an English-speaking team
• Capability to work independently and proactively in an unstructured environment
• Proficiency in English at a B2+ level
