Senior Java Engineer
Summary
Senior Java engineer at a digital solutions vendor in Kuala Lumpur who designs, codes, tests and maintains software modules and Oracle database logic (stored procedures, triggers) for client projects, using JavaSE/JavaEE, Spring, MyBatis and SQL, plus building AI-driven automation features. On-site in Midvalley; Mandarin speakers preferred.
Salary: RM 9,000 – RM 13,500 per month

With this position, you will be required to…
Accomplish the company’s software products and projects’ data analysis and database business logic.
According to business requirements, design flow, code, test and maintain the software modules.
Execute the development of the oracle database storage process, package, trigger and function.
Configure, build, and test the application technical components.
Fix any defects and performance problems discovered in testing.
Design, develop, and implement AI-driven automation functions.

● Knowledgeable in MVC Architecture
● Required Skill(s): JavaSE, JavaEE, Object Oriented Programming
● Experienced in SQL, MyBatis/ibatis, Spring
● Experienced in optimizing SQL performance
● Experienced in processing multiple thread
● Knowledgeable in Web Services (Preferably REST)
● Knowledgeable in using source control: SVN Preferably GIT
● Knowledgeable on RESTFUL API and integration Patterns
● Posses a strong team work spirit
● Good English and Mandarin communication skills
● At least 4-5 years of working experience in specializing in IT/Computer - Software or equivalent
● Candidate must be possess at least a Bachelor’s degree/College Degree, Professional License and/or Certificate relevant to Software Programming, Computer Science/Information Technology (Software) or equivalent
● Candidates fluent in Mandarin (read, write & speak) are highly preferred as this position involves regular dealings and exposures with Mandarin speaking clients.
● Willing to work in Midvalley area, KL
