Senior Java/Kotlin Backend & Microservices Engineer

NTT DATA Europe & Latam in Italy is seeking an experienced Java/Kotlin Developer to design, build, and scale modern cloud-native applications. You will work on backend services using Java and Kotlin, develop RESTful APIs, and implement microservices-based architectures.

You'll collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, architects, and operations to deliver scalable software in agile environments, write clean, tested code, and contribute to deployment and monitoring in cloud

Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Kotlin. Design, build, and optimize RESTful APIs for performance and scalability. Architect microservices-based solutions and ensure cloud readiness. Collaborate with frontend, product, and operations teams in an agile environment. Write clean, maintainable, testable code and participate in code reviews. Assist in deployment and monitoring of applications in cloud environments. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field. 5+ years of hands-on Java/Kotlin development experience. Strong experience with Spring Boot and RESTful APIs.
