The Opportunity:
When a JD Edwards environment hits a wall, most people patch it. The right person finds the root cause, redesigns the path forward, and makes the system work the way the business needs it to.

Our client, a growing organization in the medical device manufacturing space, has a complex JD Edwards Financials and Order to Cash challenge requiring a senior-level expert who can step into an existing environment, understand the business and system landscape, identify the underlying issues, and architect the right solution.

This is not a routine JDE support role. You will work across JDE Financials, Distribution, Order to Cash, Customer Master, Advanced Pricing, integrations, and financial data flows, connecting business requirements with functional configuration and technical development.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with both business and technical stakeholders, challenging existing processes when appropriate, and developing practical solutions that support the business effectively and sustainably.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Serving as the senior JDE Financials subject matter expert and functional solution lead
• Partnering with business stakeholders to understand financial operational and system requirements
• Assessing JDE processes configurations and data structures to identify gaps inefficiencies and root causes
• Evaluating Customer Master and Address Book structures relationships hierarchies and downstream financial impacts
• Mapping the complete Order to Cash process from customer setup and sales orders through invoicing Accounts Receivable General Ledger and financial reporting
• Investigating financial imports data movement interfaces and downstream impacts
• Troubleshooting complex JDE Financials Distribution Sales Order Management pricing customer data and integration issues
• Evaluating Advanced Pricing requirements and architecting a consolidated pricing structure
• Reviewing pricing rules hierarchies and adjustments to determine how pricing should flow through O2C
• Translating business requirements into JDE functional solutions and technical requirements
• Collaborating with JDE developers on configuration integrations customizations and system changes
• Evaluating downstream impacts of JDE configuration master data and process changes
• Supporting JDE integration and reconciliation with QuickBooks and other financial systems
• Reviewing data mapping and identifying discrepancies affecting financial information flow
• Developing process maps requirements and solution documentation
• Leading or supporting user acceptance testing and solution validation
• Recommending improvements to JDE configuration architecture process standardization and scalability

Qualifications:

• Bringing extensive hands-on experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne
• Demonstrating deep expertise in JDE Financials including General Accounting Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
• Demonstrating strong expertise across JDE Financials and Distribution
• Bringing significant Order to Cash experience including Sales Order Management invoicing Accounts Receivable and General Ledger integration
• Demonstrating hands-on expertise with JDE Advanced Pricing
• Bringing strong experience with Customer Master and Address Book
• Demonstrating experience with JDE financial integrations and external accounting systems
• Demonstrating strong knowledge of JDE configuration processing options versions UDCs tables and business functions
• Understanding JDE data relationships and end-to-end transaction flows
• Bringing experience with data mapping integrations imports and financial interfaces
• Demonstrating strong knowledge of financial business processes and accounting principles
• Demonstrating experience translating business requirements into practical JDE solutions
• Communicating effectively with Finance business stakeholders and technical teams
• Demonstrating strong analytical problem-solving documentation and requirements-writing skills
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship

• Bringing experience supporting manufacturing or medical device environments
• Demonstrating experience with JDE integrations involving QuickBooks or similar financial platforms
• Bringing experience consolidating or redesigning complex Advanced Pricing structures
• Demonstrating experience with JDE architecture and solution design
• Bringing experience working directly with developers on JDE customizations and business functions
• Demonstrating experience supporting data cleanup reconciliation or migration initiatives
• Bringing experience improving complex or underperforming JDE environments
