Senior/Lead SAP Cloud Integration Developer

We are seeking a skilled Senior/Lead SAP Cloud Integration (CI) Developer to design, build, and optimize robust integration scenarios across an evolving SAP and non-SAP landscape.

In this role, you will play a central part in building next-generation integrations, driving migrations from SAP PO/Neo to Cloud Foundry, and leveraging modern event-driven architectures on SAP BTP.

Responsibilities

• Design & Build: Develop end-to-end integration flows (iFlows) in SAP Cloud Integration using standard adapters (REST, SOAP, OData, SFTP, IDoc) and custom Groovy scripting
• Modernize the Landscape: Drive migrations from on-premises SAP PO to Cloud Integration (CI) and upgrade legacy environments from Neo to Cloud Foundry
• Enable Event-Driven Integration: Implement asynchronous processing, message queues, and streaming flows leveraging platforms like SAP Event Mesh, Kafka, or RabbitMQ
• Ensure Enterprise Security & Reliability: Configure OAuth, manage SSL/TLS certificates, implement secure Cloud Connector tunnels, and ensure reliable delivery via proper Quality of Service (QoS / Exactly-Once / At-Least-Once)
• Deploy Best Practices: Utilize Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIP), design reusable value mappings, build structured exception handling, and leverage pre-packaged SAP integration content

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience implementing solutions on SAP Cloud Integration (Integration Suite)
• Strong understanding of CI internal architecture, tenant setup, subaccounts, and pricing models
• Experience deploying and tailoring pre-packaged standard SAP integration content
• Hands-on experience with PO to CI and Neo to Cloud Foundry migrations
• Advanced Groovy Scripting within CI
• Solid programming foundation in Java or ABAP
• Proficiency with key adapters and protocols: OData, REST, SOAP (including SOAP RM), SFTP, and IDoc
• Practical knowledge of Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIP) and designing reliable asynchronous messaging
• Familiarity with messaging systems and event streaming (SAP Event Mesh, Kafka, or RabbitMQ)
• High-level understanding of EDA (Event-Driven Architecture), SOA, and ISA-M (Integration Solution Advisory Methodology)
• Solid grasp of BTP Security: Role collections, OAuth 2.0 configuration, and API authentication
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP stack, firewalls, reverse proxies)
• Practical experience managing SSL handshakes, keystores, and certificate lifecycles
• Experience with SAP Cloud Connector installation and path/resource configurations
• Working knowledge of APIs and data models across at least two SAP solutions (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, SAP CX)
