SENIOR LINUX SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR – INFRASTRUKTUR (M/W/D)
Karlsruhe, remote | full time

Interested in managing large-scale server environments across multiple continents and further developing complex infrastructures? Perfect! #Profile
- Planning, operation, installation, configuration, and maintenance of netcup’s server infrastructure
- Responsibility for operating virtualized environments (KVM) and close coordination with network and hardware teams
- Implementation of improvements to optimize system performance and customer experience
- Ensuring operational stability, security, and quality
- Collaboration with internal teams as well as external service providers and hardware suppliers
- Support in handling incidents, including troubleshooting, resolution, and sustainable prevention
#Wanted
- Expert-level Linux skills (preferably Debian / Ubuntu or related derivatives)
- Experience in operating virtualized environments (KVM)
- Knowledge of networking (switching, routing, VLAN, monitoring)
- Experience with server hardware (Dell, Lenovo, HPE): troubleshooting, firmware management, automation
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) and automation tools (e.g., Ansible)
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Systematic, independent work style with a strong sense of ownership
- Excellent German and good English skills
