Senior Litigation Counsel

You will lead strategy and drive resolution for complex litigation and regulatory enforcement matters. You will advise senior leaders on legal risk and enforcement trends, manage and partner with outside counsel, engage directly on discovery and key filings, and handle disputes including class actions, commercial litigation, privacy, and consumer protection. You will work cross-functionally with product, engineering, compliance, and risk to identify and mitigate legal issues consistent with business priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategy for significant litigation and regulatory enforcement matters from pre-litigation through resolution
  • Advise senior leadership on legal risk enforcement trends and business impact
  • Manage and partner with outside counsel to drive efficient high-quality outcomes
  • Engage personally on legal strategy discovery and key filings
  • Handle complex disputes including class action commercial litigation privacy and consumer protection matters
  • Align risk and strategy with other Counsel teams including Policy Product Regulatory and Corporate
  • Collaborate with Engineering Compliance and Risk to proactively identify and mitigate issues

Requirements

  • J.D. and active bar membership
  • 10+ years of litigation experience at a leading law firm government agency or in-house
  • Experience leading complex litigation and regulatory enforcement matters
  • Expertise in class action commercial disputes privacy and financial regulatory enforcement
  • Experience in litigation for a public company including financial reporting audit and governance obligations
  • Strong judgment and ability to translate legal risk into practical business guidance
  • Exceptional collaboration skills across legal disciplines and cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication and advocacy skills
  • AI-first perspective and interest in building and leveraging AI-driven tools for litigation management and discovery
