Senior Mainframe Developer
As a Senior Mainframe Developer, you will become part of a highly experienced team of specialists responsible for the development and maintenance of mission-critical systems running on IBM Mainframe technologies.
- At least 5 years of commercial experience in the development and maintenance of applications on the IBM Mainframe platform.
- Strong knowledge of COBOL, JCL, CICS, and z/OS.
- Hands-on experience with DB2 databases, including SQL development, query optimization, and data analysis.
- Ability to analyze business requirements and independently design and implement effective solutions.
- Experience in troubleshooting production issues and optimizing existing applications.
- A proactive and self-driven attitude, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in an international project environment.
- English proficiency at B1 level or higher.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with Git, Bitbucket , and CI/CD practices within Mainframe environments.
- Experience in the banking, financial services, or insurance sector.
- Knowledge of Mainframe modernization initiatives and AI-driven software development solutions.
- Experience mentoring and supporting junior developers.
