Providence is calling a Senior Manager Contracting who will:
- Be responsible for leading, or participating as a team member, in significant negotiations with Payors for acceptable reimbursement terms and contract languages for all entities with continuum of care
- I.E. Hospitals, Physician Organizations, Home Health, and Hospice Services
- Support a PH&S Region and Payors assigned
- Be responsible for revenue primarily associated with Commercial, Medicare Advantage, and managed Medicaid products
- Develop complex negotiation strategies and secure acceptable terms
- Resolve Problems
- Obtain applicable support of leaders within the Service Area, Regional, System, and/or with strategic partners, such as ACO's and Joint Ventures

- This role is a hybrid position, working a combination of in office / work from home
- The hybrid work schedule will be defined by manager and departmental needs
- This role requires for you to be located within a commutable distance of our office location listed below:
- California: Irvine
- Work Week: Monday - Friday
- Work Shift: Day

Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree - Preferred fields: Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Finance, Accounting or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 8 years of related healthcare experience in contract negotiations, financial management, or related field.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's Degree
