Senior Manager, Gas Transmission and/or Distribution Technical Specialty

Primary Purpose
Guides large-scale initiatives and establishes governance frameworks for project execution. Influences stakeholders and ensures alignment with corporate priorities.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develops and oversees master schedules aligning with corporate objectives for timely, cost-effective delivery.
• Oversees gas distribution and transmission pipeline projects, including new facilities, major additions, replacements, and retrofit projects.
• Defines the strategic vision for expansion and modernization of the gas transmission system across the service territory.
• Establishes comprehensive risk management frameworks addressing asset integrity, geopolitical factors, and supply chain disruptions.
• Aligns gas transmission strategy with corporate sustainability goals, including carbon reduction, methane leak detection/prevention, and renewable natural gas integration.
• Sets project governance frameworks and enforces compliance with corporate, legal, and regulatory mandates.
• Oversees quality assurance procedures during design, material procurement, and construction to ensure project specifications are met.
• Establishes performance management cadences across project organizations, ensuring consistent review cycles, escalation pathways, and decision transparency among managers and teams.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
