The Senior Manager, Global Cards Development & Deployment, is critical member of the Global Cards team. The Global Cards team is responsible for driving material profit and customer engagement to Marriott International, with significant growth goals. We are looking for an energetic, self-starting relationship-builder and project manager to join our team. This candidate for this role will help turn business development opportunities into successful partnerships around the world by overseeing project management to launch cobrand card programs. The Senior Manager will own and manage cobrand development launch plans in collaboration Continent teams, internal and external partners. This role will report to the Director, Global Cards Product Development & Deployment.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience
Required
· Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related major.
· 5+ years project/program management experience to lead complex cross-functional initiatives to support product launches with relevant industry experience to support on-time, high-quality product launches.
· Work flexible hours to support international markets, including early morning and night.
Education and Experience
Preferred
· Experience supporting global product launches, partnership implementations, or financial services/card initiatives, with demonstrated ability to coordinate across international markets, external partners, and cross-functional teams.
· Strong Smartsheet (or a similar project tracking tool) experience to manage and track project plans, status reporting, and stakeholder communications.
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
Cobrand Credit Card Launches
· Provides guidance to cross-functional and continent teams to ensure successful communication of all needs and initiatives
· Owns cobrand activations as the primary project manager in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
· Develop and take ownership of project management activities
· Build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to influence key individuals
· Communicates plans in a clear and persuasive manner that is easy to understand
· Coordinates with external bank and network partners on launch planning to ensure an orchestrated entry to market
· Serve as primary liaison to market team, IT, Finance, CX, Legal, Operations Customer Care, and others to advise and implement operational requirements
· Owns program launch reporting, templates, and meetings
· Ensures seamless execution of card launches and implementation of all operational requirements
· Multi-cultural awareness to ensure appropriate planning and approaches in global markets
· Act as a Center of Excellence for cobrand program launches
· Leverages established processes, documents and tools to manage each initiative
· Provide support on various projects as needed.
Launch Planning Management
· Track and manage updates to the tools, templates, and documents that support the product launch planning process.
· Ensure all resources stay current, accessible, and aligned with evolving launch requirements as cross-functional teams collaborate.
· Maintain version control, coordinating revisions with stakeholders, and flagging any gaps in documentation that could impact launch readiness.
· Suggest ways to optimize launch planning processes
Managing Work, Projects, and Policies
· Analyzes information and evaluates results to choose the best solution and solve problems
· Provides timely, accurate, and detailed status reports weekly and as requested
· Develops specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work
