Senior Manager of Consolidation and Reporting

JOB DUTIES: Consolidate and prepare monthly financial statements for the company and group entities under US GAAP and IFRS. Responsible for implementing, enhancing, and maintaining global consolidation system, closing and consolidating global operations, and producing US GAAP and IFRS financial statements. Job duties include:

· Oversee and produce consolidated financial statements and footnotes in accordance with IFRS and US GAAP for the consolidated group and unit groups.

· Review and manage US GAAP to IFRS adjustments.

· Prepare financial statement footnotes.

· Assist with the annual impairment testing on goodwill and indefinite useful life intangibles.

· Research and assess impact of adoption of new accounting standards on financial statements and coordinate application across global business units.

· Review and finalize monthly global consolidation including the intercompany reconciliations, asset rollforwards, NCI changes, equity pickup, and CTA changes.

· Lead the new consolidation system implementation (OneStream), design the system, and perform data validation.

· Develop the consolidation system (need to be able to read programming languages) continuously for business changes including restructuring and accounting method changes.

· Prepare journal entries for and coordinate restructuring accounting.

· Maintain and review meta data and mapping across subsidiaries to ensure consistency for financial reporting.

· Develop and maintain standard reports such as income statement, Balance sheet, and cash flow in US GAAP and IFRS and prepare ad-hoc reports as needed.

· Perform trend analysis and deep dive on balances showing irregularities.

· Support KSOX implementation and audit process and maintain objective evidence for KSOX compliance.

· Assist in developing and maintaining internal controls around global consolidation process inclusive of process documentation.

· Support and coordinate external audits on financial statements.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

PRIMARY JOB REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting or a related field, and passage of all 4 parts of CPA exam.

7 years of combined work experience in the job offered or related position, including experience with the following:

· Manufacturing industry

· Accounting experience in multi-national operations; responsible regions covered must include North America, Europe, and Asia

· Accounting principle applications of both US GAAP and IFRS including following components

o Research new accounting standard pronouncements, write accounting memo on the company specific impact and implementation plan, and application of the new standard

o US GAAP to IFRS financial statement conversions(inventory valuation, lease accounting, IAS 32 anticipated acquisition method etc.)

o Preparing consolidated financial statements(BS, IS, CF, comprehensive income, equity rollforward) of foreign currency subsidiaries under US GAAP and IFRS, and calculating CTA impact

o Financial statement footnote preparation under US GAAP and IFRS

o Interacting with external auditors and management to discuss auditing issue resolution

· ERP and consolidation system power user experience, including the following components:

o Heading a project team leading implementation of and designing architect of a new consolidation system

o Scoping and building system changes(NCI/equity pickup/CTA calculation logics)

o Restructuring and M&A development of accounting, system, and equity pickup setup of complex legal entity structure

o Training users on the ERP and consolidation systems and troubleshoot user experience issues

· Setting up and maintaining accounting procedures in compliance with KSOX

· Utilizing advanced Excel tools including Pivot Tables, VLookup, and macros
