Senior Manager, Project Management (Healthcare Infrastructure)
Salary: $8,000 – $9,000 per month
Join a healthcare development team to lead project planning, technical coordination and stakeholder engagement for hospital infrastructure development. Work closely with consultants, contractors and regulatory authorities to ensure projects meet operational, safety and strategic requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Lead project planning and coordinate with consultants, contractors, users and relevant authorities to ensure timely project delivery.
Manage technical coordination meetings and facilitate discussions on design, construction and post-construction requirements.
Oversee the gathering, review and approval of users’ requirements, ensuring proper documentation and milestone sign-offs.
Review architectural, engineering and infrastructure designs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, building codes and operational needs.
Represent the organisation in design reviews, technical workshops and project discussions to safeguard operational, safety and readiness requirements.
Evaluate consultant and contractor proposals to ensure solutions are practical, compliant, maintainable and fit for purpose.
Identify and mitigate risks relating to design decisions, infrastructure constraints and project changes.
Ensure infrastructure layouts support safe and efficient movement of patients, staff, visitors, supplies and waste.
Develop and implement safety, compliance and operational readiness frameworks to support commissioning and future operations.
Coordinate with relevant authorities on fire safety, workplace safety, licensing, emergency preparedness and operational readiness.
Ensure regulatory and safety requirements are addressed to support commissioning and day-one operations.
Maintain robust project documentation and ensure processes align with organisational policies and governance requirements.
Support healthcare planning initiatives, project administration and other duties related to hospital development.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Civil & Structural, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
At least 8 years of relevant project management or infrastructure development experience will be advantageous.
Experience in healthcare infrastructure or hospital development is highly advantageous.
Fire Safety certification registered with SCDF and MOM-registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer certification are advantageous.
Strong knowledge of building codes, fire safety systems, WSH standards and emergency preparedness.
Strong leadership, strategic planning, analytical and project management skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
