Senior Manager Surgical Services RN- SURGERY at Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center in San Pedro, CA. This position is Full Time and will work 8-hour Day shifts.

Additionally, our Rehab Center is nationally ranked by UDSMR and accredited by CARF for outstanding rehabilitation programs.

Directs clinical and support services staff. Functions as a member of the administrative management team in all aspects of Surgery and Perianesthesia management.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing large clinical teams with a span of control of 50+ caregivers and demonstrated expertise in perioperative operations, including block scheduling, staffing, productivity management, and on-call coverage. This leader will partner closely with physicians, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure exceptional patient care, operational excellence, and caregiver engagement.

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Bachelor's Degree Nursing Or
  • Upon hire: California Registered Nurse License
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • 5 years of progressively responsible healthcare leadership experience.
  • 3 years of leadership or management experience in perioperative or procedural services.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree Nursing
  • Upon hire: National Certification
  • Experience with Magnet Organization
  • Experience leading OR, PACU, and procedural areas; GI Lab and Pre-Admission Testing experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of block scheduling, workforce planning, on-call management, budgeting, and productivity metrics.
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, develop, and retain high-performing teams.
  • Creative problem solver with a focus on innovation, patient experience, quality outcomes, and operational efficiency.
  • Passion for staff recognition, professional development, and building a positive workplace culture.
