Senior Master Data Management Architect

Job: - Senior Master Data Management Technical Architect - (Must hold an active Baseline Clearance)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Master Data Management Architect with strong experience in Master Data Management (MDM) platform and Profisee for a long-term contract role with a Federal Agency.

Required Skills

• Demonstrated hands-on experience designing, deploying, configuring and supporting enterprise Master Data Management solutions using Profisee MDM.

• Extensive experience in Master Data, Reference Data, Data Governance, Data Stewardship, Data Quality Management, Matching and Survivorship, Hierarchy Management

• Strong understanding of MDM operating models, governance frameworks and master data lifecycle management.

• Experience implementing data quality, data stewardship and golden record management processes.

• Proven experience delivering enterprise MDM platforms from design through to production deployment and operational support.

• Strong experience designing and building enterprise data models and information architectures for complex organisations.

• Hands-on experience developing integrations using: REST APIs, Azure Data Factory, ETL / ELT pipelines and Enterprise messaging and integration platforms

• Experience troubleshooting, performance tuning and supporting production data platforms.

• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure services and cloud-native architectures.

Desirable Skills

• Experience implementing Profisee MDM in Microsoft Azure and/or Microsoft Fabric environments.

• Experience with: - Azure Data Factory - Microsoft Fabric - Azure Synapse Analytics - Microsoft Purview - Power BI

• Experience working within government, regulated industries or large enterprise environments.

• Experience with DevOps tooling, CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code practices.

• Experience deploying and supporting containerised platforms and Kubernetes-based solutions.

• Relevant certifications in: - Azure Architecture - Azure Engineering - Data Architecture - Enterprise Architecture - Profisee MDM

Key Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing enterprise data models and information architectures.

• Developing and supporting integrations using APIs, Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric and other enterprise integration platforms.

• Designing and implementing data ingestion, mastering, publication and syndication patterns.

• Deploying, configuring and supporting Profisee in Microsoft Azure environments.

• Contributing to DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code and environment automation.

• Troubleshooting platform, integration and data-related issues across development, testing and production environments.

Visa Status and Security Clearance

• The candidate must have an active AGSVA Baseline Security clearance Hybrid NV1 Clearance.

Contract Duration

• Contract for an initial ASAP to 30 June 2027

• Experience level: - EL1 equivalent

• Estimated Start Date: - Tuesday, 20 October 2026

Working arrangements: - (Hybrid) A preference for candidates to perform the role in Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, or Hobart. Applicants in other locations will be considered at the discretion of the Hiring Manager. Applicants, including those in Perth, will be required to work in alignment with AEST. (i.e. a combination of onsite attendance at an Client’s office and remote working) will be accepted.
