Senior Motorsport Embedded Firmware Architect

Marelli Motorsport is seeking an Embedded Firmware Senior Engineer to join the Motorsport R&D Software Development team in Venaria Reale, Italy. You will define and develop software for onboard applications, contribute to future software evolution, and work mainly in C/C++/Python across RTOS, Windows and Linux environments.

You'll create designs from specifications, implement code, improve the existing codebase, and ensure real-time performance, testability, robustness and maintainability.

Create from scratch custom software design and architecture. Develop and integrate RTOS, device drivers and MCU routines; provide unit tests and documentation. Software maintenance and new implementations. Documentation and review. Troubleshooting, fault-finding and bug fixing. Experience in embedded software development for automotive systems. Strong C/C++ knowledge and real-time programming. Experience with RTOS and microcontroller firmware. Ability to read schematics and use test equipment.
