Senior .NET / Backend Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test and maintain backend applications using C# and .NET technologies.
• Build REST APIs and integrate applications with databases and third-party systems.
• Contribute to technical design, code reviews, automated testing and development standards.
• Troubleshoot application issues and support deployment and ongoing production maintenance.

Job Experience & Skills Required / Ideal Candidate Profile:
Education

• A degree, diploma or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology or Software Engineering is advantageous.
• Relevant Microsoft or software-development certifications will be advantageous.
• Demonstrable experience delivering enterprise applications is valued.
• Cloud or DevOps certifications will be beneficial.

Experience

• Typically 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with C#, .NET / .NET Core or modern .NET.
• Experience developing REST APIs, integrating databases and working with SQL.
• Experience with Azure or another cloud platform, CI/CD and Agile delivery will be highly advantageous.

Skills

• C#, .NET / .NET Core and backend application development.
• REST APIs, microservices and systems integration.
• SQL Server, database integration and query troubleshooting.
• Git, automated testing, CI/CD and cloud deployment practices.
